Add option to revert OFX Import behaviour to previous (In Settings)
Make new OFX Import behaviour a little less enthusiastic to take over
Fix a possible crash with Smart Filters when a referenced account or bucket was deleted

Version 2026.02 – March 2nd 2026

This release contains a number of fixes and improvements:

Add an option for more flexible OFX Importing. MoneyWell will now allow you to import an OFX file directly into an account, even if the details don’t match. If you attempt to import into what MoneyWell considers the “wrong” account, MoneyWell will check this is intended.
Add additional default date options in Reports
Add an extra CSV import option to treat amounts in brackets as negative
Add a context menu option to jump directly to a transfer sibling from a transaction.
Improve appearance of menu bar on macOS Tahoe
Improve behaviour when upgrading MoneyWell with a shared budget
Improve Fill Bucket performance in the new spending plan
Fix a potential issue that could lead to missing attachments

This is a small release to fix a few layout bug in spending plan.

Version 2024.08 – October 2nd, 2024

This release contains the fix for a bug that prevented users from opening MoneyWell on macOS11 (Big Sur).

Version 2024.07 – September 25th, 2024

Added option to negate CSV values on import for Mac
Added the ability to create Bucket Transfers in MoneyWell Express. While these transfers are not yet visible on the Express app, they are available on the Mac version. The functionality to view transfers on Express will be available in a future update. We wanted to release the basic feature first to get it in your hands sooner!

This is a small update to address a couple of very annoying bugs that slipped through in 2023.02

Fixed an issue where view settings weren’t being remembered
Fixed an issue which could prevent Direct Connect from working properly

We’re still working on some other fixes, including:

Fixing an issue which can caused a crash when trying to enable sync on an imported MW3 Document
Fixing an issue prevent currency pairs being generated for multi-currency Budgets
Making this welcome screen more version aware – if you’re reading this and still running 2023.01 there’s an update available

These will hopefully be available soon
We’re also working on Budget sharing across iCloud accounts as we discussed in our initial announcement blog post

This is a small update to address a few issue

Make it more obvious when you’re in “Free mode”
Make the “What’s New” screen only appear on a new version update
